About a year ago, something in me clicked. I didn’t like the per-son I had become; having slowly let my physical condition deteriorate after graduating college in 2011.
I knew in my heart I needed to make a change for not only myself but my wife and family, and my future. I took the leap and joined Journey Fitness, literally starting my own journey. This establishment is not a building you visit a few times a week, get in a few reps, and hope you see results.
You go consistently, put in the work, and know each day that you are bettering yourself. After working hard with a FANTASTIC team, embracing simple lifestyle changes, and improving my mental state of mind, I’m happy and proud to say I feel better than I have in years.
I’ve solidly met my goals and continue to set more; I’m down over 60lbs! I don’t want to say I’ve “lost” it, because that would mean I don’t know where it went. I know exactly where it went. I left it on the gym floor, on the throw towels, on the track, puddled next to the bench. And sory to those following me in the circuits… I sweat a lot.
