At Journey Fitness we have a saying that “We put the FUN in FUN-ctional fitness”. We believe fitness should be fun. When fitness is fun, you are more likely to see better results. We also believe that good fitness is great entertainment. Training for fat loss requires a few basic fundamentals, and fun can be a game changer for results.
Honestly, how much more likely are you to skip a workout when the routine has lost it’s flare, fun, or excitement?? Skipping workouts, isn’t going to help with fat loss. So it’s a win/win when you can make something that’s good like exercise for fat loss more appealing. Making fat loss fun is like discovering a way to make eating your least favorite veggie more palatable. For example you know broccoli is good for you.
When you find the special sauce to woof down an entire plate it’s quite the accomplishment and a real game changer for your overall health. It feels good to make the difficult tasks more manageable.
Truly fat loss is simple, BUT it’s not simple to do. It takes hard work, effort, nutrition, and a bit of exercise science. However it’s more manageable when it’s made fun. Tools like the agility ladders for fat loss are fun, and give us major benefit in terms of functional training. Improving coordination alone is a major benefit, especially as we age, but the ability to burn fat is intensified on the ladders when trained correctly.
