Hey everyone It’s training tip Tuesday(T3)! This week we’re going to be giving you tips on how to get the most out of your single leg dead lifts. Continue reading or check the link below to out YouTube page for more info (Heck why not both?!?)
First thing you want to do is dive you heel behind you. Do this instead of swinging your leg behind you. Doing this will help with hip and core stabilization.
Second, Keep your hips level. When doing a standard dead lift you don’t twist your hips. So why would you when it comes to a single leg action. keep your hips level and parallel with the ground.
Lastly fill the hole! As you drive your leg back and behind you remember to bring the kettle bell to where the heel was previously on the ground. Doing this will give you a proper focal point as you come down into the Single leg Dead lift.
