I have been running since I was 8 years old. I lost motivation to run/workout. I was eating unhealthy. As the scale climbed, I tried different home programs & signed up for marathons to get back on track. I wasn’t committed or putting in the work.
I was getting slower & did not like how I felt or what I saw in the mirror. My breaking point came after my slowest 1/2 marathon. I saw the pictures from the race & had to do something different! Joining Journey Fitness was the best deci-sion that I could of made!
The posi-tive support & encouragement from the coaches was the motivation I needed to get back on track. The food journal & nutrition classes kept me honest. Setting small weekly goals at weigh-ins kept me focused. I was inspired to be strong & healthy again.
I really look forward to Jour-ney Fitness. The support you receive from the coaches & members is amazing! I am now motivated to workout both at Journey Fitness & on my running! I am doing things that I thought were impossible. I am the strongest I have ever been & I am running my fastest times in 18 years.
My last 1/2 marathon was 44 minutes faster than previ-ous. Carrying 25lbs less helps but the strength & inspiration that I get from the Journey Fitness family is what keeps me working!
